I helped a massage & spa centre from UK to create a consistent and professional website and brand identity that brings up a visual representation of best spa experience.
My client who offers a Massage & SPA services in Hull approached me to help them in search of a new clients as the usual form of promotion in newspapers or internet didn’t work anymore.

Therefore my solution was to create a unique and efficient brand identity that would consist of a logo, stationery and marketing material alongside with an improved website.
Branding
If you want to see your business grow, creating a strong brand is a must. I started with a unique logo and choosing a color scheme for Massages Hull.
When it comes to spa logo design a lot of creativity is allowed, but it has to match a brand promise. Therefore I decided to use a delicate symbol that relates to yoga, spa, holistic medicine etc. I complemented it with a pastel colour pallete with a lavender as a primary colour that associates with calmness and relaxation.
I decided to use a circular shape of a logo with incorporated heart into it to represent a zen-like completeness a wellness center might give you in body care. In terms of typeface choice I decided to combine a serif traditional and elegant font with a handwritten one that gives a logo feminine look & feel.

Consistency across marketing channels
When the logo is ready, the colour palette is chosen, and other visual elements are prepared, it’s time to unite them into harmonic corporate style.
The next step of creating brand identity was designing business cards, leaflets, gift cards and marketing images for social media. Logo, website and marketing material have to be consistent across all channels so that customers can identify the brand easily. A brand can be thought of as a personality.

Website
My intention while designing a website for Massages Hull was to improve the user experience in first instance. Tailored designed website looks professional but also has great content and information architecture.
It contains all the key information for potential customers, such as location, scope of service, benefits, price list or testimonials. Big chunk of information was hidden at first glance and expands whenever user clicks on the “Learn more” next to the massage name. Finally we can book an appointment online from almost every place on the site thanks to clever layout of CTAs.
I decided to use very neat and clean layout along with a beautiful big format photography to give the website look and feel of best spa & wellness experience.
